Batala London’s taster sessions united new members, bringing fresh energy and rhythm to our growing community. Welcome aboard!

Here's to the fresh faces who were able to represent the Batala London family at the Portsmouth Encontro and went on to drum at the Notting Hill Carnival. Congratulations to our new members! We hope you experienced a journey filled with rhythm, camaraderie, and the sheer joy of drumming. The Encontro and Notting Hill Carnival parade was a great success. And if you've not heard already, Batala Mundo triumphed in the Brazilian Band category for the second consecutive year. Ob

Saturday 4 September was Batala London's 12th Anniversary - which we celebrated in style on 16th October at a Brazilian bar and restaurant with live music, traditional dishes and cocktails. We celebrated hard! There were cheers, laughter, singing, dancing, speeches and conversation - all the ingredients for a tremendous evening, only recovering now to share this post.
