Preparing for Notting Hill Carnival
We’re preparing for Notting Hill Carnival, one of the most joyful moments in our year. The weeks leading up to Carnival are full of energy: learning new calls, tightening sections, welcoming new players and building confidence together. Rehearsals take on a different feel during this time — more focused, more connected and full of anticipation. Costumes are refreshed, drums are tuned and the whole band leans into the rhythm that will carry us through the streets of West London.
Our Journey
We bring Afro‑Brazilian samba‑reggae to streets, carnivals and celebrations across London and the UK. Our drumming and dancing have added colour, movement and rhythm to events ranging from Notting Hill Carnival and London Pride to local festivals, sporting days and community gatherings. Each performance is a chance to share the energy of Bahia, connect with people and bring our community’s spirit to new places.
