Collaborating with the London Gay Men's Chorus at Queer Carnival

On 4 July, we had the privilege of performing as part of Queer Carnival at Alexandra Palace Theatre, collaborating with the London Gay Men's Chorus on a vibrant celebration of global Pride. This event marked a joyful moment in our Batala London Queer Carnival collaboration, bringing our samba‑reggae energy to a night dedicated to diversity, inclusion, and the power of music.

It was an honour to add Batala London's unmistakable samba-reggae rhythms to such a colourful and uplifting production. Sharing the stage with the talented singers of the London Gay Men's Chorus and contributing to an event that championed equality and LGBTQ+ communities around the world made the experience especially memorable.

Performing at Alexandra Palace Theatre, surrounded by an enthusiastic audience, was a reminder of how music can transcend language and unite people through shared joy, rhythm, and celebration.

We'd like to thank the London Gay Men's Chorus, the Kaleidoscope Trust, and everyone involved in Queer Carnival for making us part of such an inspiring evening. We hope our paths cross again in the future.
