Members at Batala London are encouraged to experience Salvador Carnival whenever they can. Hearing samba-reggae in its natural home offers a deeper understanding of the rhythms we play and the culture that shapes them. The inspiration gathered in Salvador travels back with our drummers and influences rehearsals, performances and the shared energy of Batala.​
