On Sunday 23rd February, Batala London gathered to support the London Winter Run event. The event was more than just a race; it was an opportunity for each runner to race for a cause close to their heart.
As the runners faced the challenge of the Winter Run, Batala London’s vibrant drums provided a powerful soundtrack of motivation. The group’s infectious enthusiasm and energy fuelled the runners as they braved the run for their respective charities. It was a beautiful demonstration of how music and sport can come together for a greater good, creating a positive atmosphere where people came together, made lasting memories, and most importantly, supported causes that matter.
A special thanks to three amazing individuals from our Batala Manchester band—Andrew Haslam, Josh Hill, and Joe Warrington—who travelled down early this morning to join us and played with full energy. Your support means the world to us, and we are incredibly grateful.
The Winter Run was a reminder of the power of community, charity, and music. It highlighted how coming together for a common purpose can leave a lasting impression on everyone involved. We’re grateful to have been invited to play, and it was an honour to contribute to such a meaningful event.
